heirloom tomatoes

Here is a photograph of some of our late heirloom tomatoes that we harvested about a week ago for an event with our friends from the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers.

that's some good lookin healthcare right here.

Its so lovely to collaborate with doctors and nutritionists.

Fran Grabowski's work as a Diabetes Educator is stepping into the gap of diabetes prevention and lifestyle choices through highlighting the local tasty produce. These tomatoes were grown from seed by a group of highly committed tween-agers.

The tomatoes were very inviting, even to some who don't consider themselves "tomato people."

Want a bite? I do.
