GM Corn Causes Organ Damage: Eat Heirloom

This is a recent study that indicates that Genetically Modified corn causes organ damage in labratory rats. This report draws out the connections between genetically modified food, which is present in the vast majority of American food and ill health effects.

High Fructose Corn Syrup is made of mostly genetically modified corn. Food items more often than not have high fructose corn syrup as the main ingredient. It is quite difficult to go through the day without injecting High Fructose Corn Syrup which was created taking GM Corn and placing it through a , in a process similar to make crack and in fact the heating of the High Fructose Corn Syrup actually creates a dangerous chemical.

THE U.S. needs to ban the use of Genetically Modified Organisms, particularly from mainstream human-consuming agricultural food system. GROW HEIRLOOM.

I have been working very hard the last few months on a garden-literacy curriculum for the middle school and high school students of Camden. Its been a lot of fun, and the Junior Farmers and I are working on Community Food Assessments. Its more like a scavenger hunt to find anything that doesn't contain high fructose corn syrup in our local convenent and corner stores.
