This weekend in Camden I have been attending the American Community Life Retreat. It has been fabulous and I highly recommend it. It has been wonderful weekend of great history and fierce fierce actions of love and lament. This gathering of people have been quite influential in my understanding love and the healing of the land and people, beautiful sacraments of lament.

These communities are writers and family of writers. They are people dedicated against nuclear proliferation and their disarmament and global sense of justice are discussed with great brilliance here at the ACL

I came across this recently. Here is an activist performance piece of protest i heard about against BP at the Tate in London, celebrating 20 years of BP sponsorship this June while the oil was still gushing this happened:
