
PLANT YOUR GARLIC between Indigenous People's Day (the HOliday formerly known as COlumbus Day) and Thanksgiving. It grows like a bulb underground. Each individual clove of garlic planted 6" away from the other cloves will grow a hole head of garlic each year.
The harvest must be in, the fields readied for winter.
We made the last of our salsa the past two Fridays this year.
We still have many tomatillos in the garden.
Planted 15 heads of garlic last week with the Jr. Farmers.
