FRIDAY NOVEMBER 12 A bit of James Joyce

The Connemara Codfish Company is a four-piece band that specializes in Irish music and sea shanties - ballads, rollicking sing- alongs, drinking songs, and old-time favorites ;p

all proceeds go to the Center For Environmental Transformation, and the continued development of our gardens, greenhouse, retreat center, and sustainable job development in Camden.

A two part evening:
1. OFFICIAL DEDICATION OF THE POET’S WALK- home to our James Joyce Brick. Friday, November 12th from 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM at 412 Jasper Street, The Heart of Camden is having a dedication of the Poet’s Walk so everyone can see their brick of their favorite published poet, playwright, or author with a toast, snacks, and some readings of those names on the walk. It all started with one man, Brendan Kilty, who brought us a brick from the rubble of the James Joyce house in Ireland! Followed by....

2. AN EVENING OF RE-JOYCING with the Connemara Codfish Company featuring Drucie McDaniel (Molly Bloom), Mark Saxton, Mik Moretti, and Mike Pastorok

7:30 PM in Sacred Heart Church. A bit of James Joyce, a bit of Irish music and load of enjoyment. The Connemara Codfish Company is a fourpiece band that specializes in Irish music and sea shanties ballads, rollicking sing-alongs, drinking songs, and old-time favorites. Concert will benefit The Center for Environmental Transformation! Please come! Donation $10.
